STAYING POSITIVE, ON AND OFF THE COURT.

Her season has been disrupted but tennis icon Garbiñe Muguruza is staying positive and looking ahead. She shares how inner strength helps her to cope with life’s tough moments.

NO MATTER WHAT, BE AUTHENTIC.

“I am a very emotional person,” Garbiñe admits. “It’s something I have improved over the years. It takes a lot of energy and work.” But she adds: “We have to show how we are, no matter what, because we are not robots.”

“Tough moments never last. You just have to go through them and stay strong. I keep looking forward because cool things are coming.”

AFTER THE PAUSE, IT’S TIME TO PLAY.

For the tennis world, lockdown is lifting and Garbiñe hopes to be back on the court soon. She can’t wait. “We’ve all missed competing. Personally, I’m going to be super-happy to be back, and ready to go.”
